Shipping policy

All our jewellery is handmade in Scotland, and while we hold stock of some items, it can take up to 21 working days for your item to be dispatched.  If you require an item sooner, we will certainly try to accommodate you.  Please let us know by adding a date in the field marked ‘special instructions’ on the checkout page. If we cannot meet your requirements,  we will contact you to advise.

When your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email that we have received your order.

Shipping

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on dispatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.
The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception:
While we try and ensure that all the prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

UK Deliveries

Postage is free on orders over £100.00 - the standard postage charge on orders under this value will be £5.00.  All deliveries will be sent by Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service.  As per the Royal Mail, they aim to delivery all packages within 2-3 working days.  

 International Deliveries

International Shipping is sent by DHL or Royal Mail International.  The cost for International Orders will be calculated at checkout.

Delivery Times

We are unable to guarantee delivery times, however typically standard service should arrive in the EEC within 5 days, 7 days to the rest of Europe and 7-10 days outside of Europe - requesting the express option should expedite delivery, however, we are not able to guarantee an exact delivery date due to possible customs delays.

Important Notice

The delivery times shown are supplied by Royal Mail. Shipping times listed reflect the time it takes for the package to travel from our warehouse to your door. It is not possible to guarantee delivery times on any items. Discount Jewellery can take no responsibility for delays caused during shipping, once goods have left the warehouse.

Shipping dates will be consistent with the Royal Mail website. 

Customs

All goods supplied to European Union Countries do need a customs declaration. VAT at the UK rate of 20% is included in the listed price. All international packages are marked as Small Packet and the goods are accurately described, with costs, on the Customs Declaration Document. Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.
